Pastor Jim Balson Jr – Senior Pastor

Rev. Balson came to Christ early in his life as God used the combined ministries of Sunday School, Biblical preaching, and Christian radio to reveal the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

After Bible college he pastored for over 30 years in Upstate NY congregations. He believes a God-honoring ministry should focus on sincere worship, and teaching the Bible. The church should be providing opportunities for church members to fellowship together in genuine friendship and minister together in order to help others see the love of Jesus. He also believes it’s important for church members to have fun together. The church family is just that… a family.

In his free moments he delights in spending time with his wife, Nancy, enjoying God’s creation, making music on various instruments, and reading.

Jim and Nancy together have 8 grown children and 13 beautiful grandkids.

If asked, Pastor Jim would call himself a Doctor Who and Lord of the Rings fan.
